I think October was a pretty good month overall with very few losers although I am a little concerned about the AW V4 selections. I still have a feeling we are being unlucky, although this doesn't mean that I won't make adjustments to the system if I feel it needs it, because I will! The Flat tip performed very well in October with only 3 losers at average odds of 3.98, it doesn't hurt to much when you do lose. The other good thing is this selection has some good winning runs, so it is easy to make your loses up over several races. I am keeping a close eye in this tip and I would ask you to be careful if you do use it. I know the odds are high but up until Friday this tip has had 23 wins in a row! The odds have been creeping up a little but that is because of the time of year and that we are staring to use V4 jump selections when no flat selections are available. With average odds of 4.77 and that we only tend to lose at the shorter odds still makes it an interesting selection to follow. That said it also had a winning run of 6.00. But it does prove my point that at lower odds it is difficult to be consistent. I will probably do more research on this selection method to see if I can improve it. I started testing the tip on the 21/09/2005 and to date there have been 33 selections and 6 losers with average odds around 4.3. The one thing I like about this system is that it is simplicity itself and is based on the second system which is part of my Stop at a Winner system. All you do is increase the odds you will except and take the first selection! I am still seeing if I can improve the strike rate a little with a couple of filters, but I am going to be hard pressed to make a great deal of difference. Next update will be middle of November.
