I thought I would add a new section to the email today called
"Trade of the Day".
I am not going to use any specific selection method
for this but what I want to do is take a selection from an area of the Racing
Post, like the tipsters table and see if they have an influence on the
price.
Over the coming months we will look at different ideas like this
to see if we can come up with some consistent methods for trading.
I
will take a snapshot of the price at around 9am and then record any changes
using my software until the off.

Trading is just a way to make money no matter what the outcome of
an event is.
Last week I mentioned
Mr
Golf
He uses his knowledge of golf players to decide which top players
are likely to good or bad in a particular event.
Basically you pick and
animal, player or team, who you feel is better or worse than the odds are
showing and then you either back or lay.
In simple terms You back first
if you think the price is going to improve (lower) and then you lay to make a
profit if the price does move down. You do the opposite if you think the price
is likely to move upwards (out).
I will go in to more detail over the
coming weeks but for now we are going to pick one of the top nap's in the
Racing Post to see if they have enough influence to cause the price to
drop.
